Duke City Repertory Theatre’s 7th Season of professional theatre will be happening in locations throughout the city of Albuquerque. That’s right, we will no longer be performing at The Cell Theatre. We are so grateful to Fusion Theatre Company for allowing us to use their beautiful space, but in the spirit of “Thinking Outside the Box,” we are taking our company to some new venues this season!
Locations for Duke City Rep’s 7th Season:
316 Central is currently being developed into an arts space for the EDO District. Located two doors down from Standard Dinner (how convenient for your pre- and post-show!), this space has an urban feel with exposed brick walls that bring their own character and atmosphere.
316 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Las Puertas Event Center
Las Puertas is an antique warehouse that is both unique and visually striking. Filled with doors and archways from around the world (most as large as those leading into the Land of Oz), this space has a character that transcends time.
1512 1st St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Sol Acting Academy Performance Space
Formerly a woman’s gym (Curves), this space has been outfitted with a stage that Duke City Rep is just itching to fill with life and laughter. Located near Cliff’s Amusement Park, the Sol Acting Academy studio has created a community for artists from all walks of life to learn about themselves and their craft.
5500 San Mateo Blvd NE #108, Albuquerque, NM 87109
Various Breweries Around Albuquerque
This city has an epic beer brewing culture that is winning acclaim around the world. But it’s not just that we produce great beer, we also have some of the most inviting brewery bars around. Places friends and family meet to share an evening of conversation and fun. Enter DCRT: unorthodox, in the thick of it, raw performances of Shakespeare amongst the patrons just as the Bard’s plays were written to be.
As soon as our locations have been confirmed, we will let you know.
